Last i checked it's still a poison An incredible poison that makes you die instantly I wonder what kind of poison exist like that in our Real world that makes you die instantly |

A poison in which can be overcomed with stupendous stamina and a large life force as Karin had stated. It's not a race thing, as long as you meet the requirements stamina and lifeforce wise you're good to go. It's not that Goku is some sort of genetically perfected being that you seem to be stuck on. |

I personally feel like it could go either way but I'm personally going with saiyans having a stronger immune system. They're better than humans in every way. Why is it a stretch to say their immune system is stronger |

Plenty of poisons can do that. The Box Jellyfish sting kills within 15 minutes, imagine taking a huge dose of that

15 minutes =/= instantly that's pretty obvious Can you show me a poison that kills you instantly in our world? akira said that the extinction bomb doesn't work on humans It's pretty obvious that saiyans aren't humans Saiyans are already physically stronger than humans to begin with |

We seem to be getting hung up on a simple point here that apparently needs to be addressed again: Biologically speaking, any virus that soecifically targets a single species will only be a danger to that species. An extermination bomb that only will target humans can only kill humans. As to how such a bomb was made to begin with, it is rather simple: Humans in DBZ are rather squishy and easy to kill, relatively speaking when the siginificant outliers (the human Z Warriors) are not considered in the equation. Making a species killing bomb is infinitely easier when you can autopsy the body of that species. Which makes such a bomb existing for Saiyans diificult. Not many things can fight and kill a Saiyan and so most who couldn't be able to try to attempt to not do anything to provoke a confrontation. Without knowing anything about a species, it is difficult to make a viral bomb to kill them. And then we have that pesky Saiyan Zenkai. Put it another way: You know the Saiyan have the Zenkai ability, which will make them stronger when they get brought back from near-death. You know deploying that extinction bomb is gonna piss off the Saiyans. Would you risk that bomb not being able to kill a single Saiyan and instead cause a species wide Zenkai while simultaeneously pissing off every single living Saiyan who will now not rest until every single last person of your species was dead and every planet you controlled culled of all living things? Because I'll tell you, I'm not that much of a betting man myself. Just because you have the ability to make the weapon doesn't mean you should be dumb enough to actually deploy it and risk it not working. At least if the target are humans they won't become stronger from surviving exposure to the weapon. |

Saiyans and humans are still the same species though. I've never heard of a virus that only specifically damages a certain race instead of an entire species... |

And here we can finally answer this question: Are Saiyans human? Certainly they share a common ancestor, based on just physical similarities. But then we have that Saiyans are naturally stronger, have prehensile tails, and the Oozaru transformation. At some point, evolution forked. While Saiyans and Earth-based Humans are certainly related by species, it is more accurate to say one is a sub-species of the other. Wolves and dogs are technically speaking the same species. However, selective breeding has made the domesticated dogs take on different shapes and skillsets. We bred several hundred different types of subspecies in dogs alone. And generally speaking, there are some diseases that dogs can get that are less common or not possible to occur in wolves, and vice versa. However, I am not so certain it is the immune system that makes Saiyans likely more resistant, but the Saiyan Zenkai, which we could qualify best as a racial ability than anything else. While the Saiyan immune system is likely as robust as any human, the Zenkai makes any injury a Saiyan survives make him stronger. While we know that is true of near-death experiences for certain, there is no reason to believe getting the flu a couple times growing up as a Saiyan wouldn't also aid in making Saiyans hardier through Zenkai. Obviously not to the same degree as recovering from death, but why wouldn't it aid in making a Saiyan that much harder to kill? |
